and..
i already beat it! great game. the new engine feels and looks great and it is a direct sequel to the first game so it has a nice continuity. here are some screenies. the first two are not spoilers but the last 5 are... so don't look if you are going to play the game and want to be surprised.

I hope you did not pay full price for the PC version.
If you did - you really should be ashamed - they did everything they could to spit in the face of sophisticated PC gamers.
>:(
I would hope everyone here who worked so closely with Taldren would appreciate those developers who respect and listen to their fans to make more complex and immersiove games for the PC platform.
CoD: MW2 - whatever it's production values - is a huge step backwards and a slap in the face to longtime PC fans.
Please ignore my rant if you got it for your console - cuz' consoles can't expect to get anything but the mediocre bones they're usually thrown anyways.

Stoney, I hope you checked out "The Museum".
If you didn't? Check it out. ... uh ... and, like, DO NOT push the button on the desk.
LOL!!

Sadly .... yep. Me and my relationship with "PC games, in general," has evolved over the years. The endless patching and system upgrading and the constant maintenance required kinda burned me out over the years. Throw in the fact that I'm on satellite internet (which means that I am limited from the get-go) & I've kinda been driven in the general direction of XBOX360. Sure, what's out there could be deeper and a lot more fun, but it's hassle-free and it works every single time.

Musashi,
Oh - well - if you got it for the 360 I got no bones to pick with you.
Despite my little snipe at consoles above - I am a cross platform player myself - and I think the 360 has - by far - the most going for it right now.
However - when it comes to PC games I am a purist - as well as a realist - I didn't go ballistic about the consolization of Oblivion or Fallout 3 - but CoD:MW2 is just a sucker punch outta nowhere for PC players!
I really feel it's the duty of PC gamers to NOT support that kind of bullsh** on our platform - especially when developers like Bioware show how to multi-platform it with class!
Imho you should enjoy your well though out purchase guilt free!
Anyone who does this on the PC - however - is part of the Console Alliance and a Traitor - and should be dealt with harshly as such!
;-)
