I just installed OP a few days ago and at first I had no problems...but yesterday I tried to play and the keyboard didn't workl at all. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Also, what are the best downloads to install for OP?
Which downloads do I need to play online?

for the keyboard problem look where op is install and try to other icon, SFCOP.EXE and StarFleetOP.exe one will show you the intro, try both and see witch one work.

Minimize and then maximize the window. The game doesn't register the keyboard first time when starting up the game for OP or EAW sometimes, and so thus you need to do an alt-tab, or even easier hit the windows key (the one with the windows symbol beside the ctrl key on the lower left side of the keyboard) and then after you're out onto the desktop, go down and maximize OP again.
The Keyboard probably should work then if it's the common problem some others have had.

Pestalence is doing a new enhancement package. Im sure he will include the target .exe fix so the keys work the 1st time.

This is an old fix:
1.) Go to your start menu, and hover over your shortcut to OP
2.) Right click, and select properties
3.) Where it says "Target", make sure the shortcut points to "StarfleetOP.exe", *NOT* "sfcop.exe"
4.) Copy from the "Target" section everything up to "starfleetOP.exe", then paste it in the line below that reads "Start In", so your "Start In" line looks something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Taldren Inc.\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\"
This will :
1.) Solve the Keyboard issue
2.) Fix the Fighters issues (as much as can be fixed, they still operate like drunken cowardly sailors)
3.) Allow you to enter your CD Key if you couldn't before.
