this guy tried to get some hackers from the Attrition web site to change his GPA at his alma mater and the emails are shown on the web. This guy is Todd Shriber, a congressional aide of some sort who got busted and was made to resign because of this. Oh, no actual hacking was done. The guy was getting hosed the whole time.

Moral of the story: if you're going to hack your grades, do it yourself from the congressional intern's machine. ;D
-
Moral of the story: Earn good grades rather than commit illegal actions to get them falsified later and ruin your life when caught.

Correction, Nemesis pointed out the MORAL of the story. But the practical lesson, especially to those that don't care for morals, Max pretty much summed up.

In high school I was in the ASB and I had access to the ASB advisors computer, including her user name and password for the ancient VAX mainframe which stored all the grades for every student in the school. I could have changed my grades, but didn't need to. Except Spanish. I was very tempted to change my C in Spanish. I hated that class.
Bloody backwards language that.

So which of your enemies found their grades unconvincingly hacked and had their lives destroyed? Don't tell me you missed the opportunity?

I'm not really a vindictive person. Besides, giving a guy who had A's and B's all D's and F's would be pretty obvious, and the change would be caught pretty quickly. Not to mention the fact that the change would be traced to the specific username and password. Finally, the ASB advisor trusted me with her username and password to do rollcall and stuff, so I wouldn't have betrayed her trust.
Besides, when I want to get revenge. I'm more a rig up C4 to your toilet and explode you while your taking a sh*t sorta guy.
I like to inject a little humor in my revenge.

All they would need to survive that is a little liquid nitrogen, a blast blanket and a cast iron tub. Don't you watch the movies? Sheesh.

The problem with the movie bomb was that it armed when someone sat down, and then detonated when he got back up.
My bomb would explode on ass contact.

Kind of reminds me of that German Tourist who died in Kalamazoo when he lit a match in a port-a-potty and it blew up. :D

Actually, putting those Snap-n-pop things under the toilet lid is usually good for a laugh... not that i've ever done it mind you.. but I have heard a scream followed by "My god that dam*ed toilet has a short in it!"
*whistles*
