Title: The effects of flying Klingon . . .
Post by: FPF-DieHard on January 29, 2006, 05:12:36 pm
I just sliced the tip of my thumb practicly off while cooking dinner a few minutes ago.  As a bachelor, I do not have bandaids, a first aid kit, or any of that pansie crap.

I did have a tube of crazy glue . . .

Thumb is working almost as good as new, I can type fine and it doesn't hurt at all.  I'll keep you posted and let you know if it turns green :)

dumb question.  Did you crazy glue the edge of what was severed or the actual meat?  Actual meat, not good.  Outside would be fine as that product was originally created as a means of sealing wounds without the aid of bandages.  I'd still have it looked at though.  Needs to be cleaned properly, infections and such.

Well being FED, flying Klingon, one could never be sure about your stupidity  ;)   Hope all goes fine with your thumb.  Perhaps stitches are called for? maybe a Klingon staple?

Actual meat, not good.

Good to know that rule of thumb.

I was once building a model of the Bismarck and my exacto knife cut through a 25mm gun and straight through my thumbnail. I didn't know I was hurt till I saw blood everywhere.. **it happens, but get it looked at anyway. ;)

It's a good thing you didn't cut off the Hood of your thumb.

Must be a ridgehead.  Real Klingons attack the enemy not themselves.

Proves the old saying lock a Ridgehead alone in a room and he'll beat himself up saving you the trouble.

(Take care not to get infected)
