Title: OT: Finally found my compiler
Post by: Braxton_RIP on July 25, 2005, 10:18:55 am
I had shelled out the cash for a private MSDN license and Visual Studio, .NET a few months ago, and then moved my office around, somehow misplacing the disks.

I found them though, so I can finally get into the scripting I have been talking about for ages.  :)

Let me know if it works...

I recall hearing back when .net came out that you needed VC++ 6.0 (or was it 5.0) to compile SFC scripts...

You need VC++ 6.0, standard edition is good enough. You can get Service Pack 5.0 too.

.net compiler won't compile the scripts. The Taldren Libs are too old.

Well, that sucks. .NET Studio still has the all important keyword color change for us old timers lol, I'll think of something.

Ok, so now I have .NET Enterpirse Architect and Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition.  Thank God I own the office, so they can't say anything about me taking the software out LOL.
