found the schematic of it in the net and made it, the original design is from Reverend Trigster, it has 1596 polys

the nacelles are that way in the schematic

yeah I never said they looked bad, I quite like them, not too sure about the head though. interesting overall ship but I'm a sucker for the modern stuff myself.
-
Damn still not the V20. :) but it looks allright I guess.
-
Why does TMP and Romulan also seem to translate to chunky and awkward?
-
I love it !!!! It's a new take for sure on a classic ship. Great work sir, will be cool to get my hands on this finished bird.

I think the chunkyness might be because it's not textured completely and lo poly. The wings egzagerate the parts not textured. I think it looks great. It wouldn't be a large ship anyways. 390m would probably be the upper end. The one thing I would change is the ancelles however. the wings sould attach to the top and bottom of the nacelle so it looks like it is clamped between them, right now it looks like a slightly oversized nacelle is attached to the ends which looks a little corny. The DV nacelle styling should be preserved as much as possible, imho. Could be used as a scale base...D7 engine matches this one's engine. It would make sense to have engines from a proven design or something absed on it on romulan vessels of tmp anyways.

yes your right the nacelles should go more to the inner to make it look that they are clamped between the top and bottom part of the secondary hull

I like it! SF2's suggestions sound good, too. I understand wanting to stick with the original design though. I'm looking forward to getting it when it's available. Your stuff always runs really well in game and looks good, man.

Nicely done looking forward to seeing more of this one

;D Looks Much better than I thought it would. Kind of like the post-TNG Kerchan meets TMP era.
Outstanding Terradyhne! Yet another Romulan to drool over.

perhaps if this looked slightly mroe advanced it could be a yesterdays enterprise vessel for he narendra battle.

Very nice.........excellent choice for a varient

Very cool Terra :)
I liked the design when I first saw it
I really like the model
Exellent work mate

I agree. It's a well balanced design given the race, era, and class. Given the TOS Rom BOP, one might suspect a ship like Terra's to look something like this.
-
Very nice. I would only use the bird pattern on the bottom though and use a different texture for the other 3 wing surfaces. I like the Klingonish nacelles too. Still has the Klingo-Romulan tech exchange look from TOS. This would, IMO, make a great design to supplant the "3rd" series SFB firehawk design (of course, we'd need the rest of the hull-classes ;)).
-
I'd like to see that head section used on some other ships, it's a neat design.
-
ok here now a pic of the higher detailed texture nacelles, but i don't think its really good

I have a couple of questions:
1) Are the nacelles supposed to be Klingon-inspired? If so, I think the nacelles are looking good (maybe a little more color-matching)
2) What is the green part behind the prim hull? A 3rd nacelle?

I'd suggest you remake the aft ends of the nacelle to be actual textures instead of being the last vestiges of the K'T'Inga studio model pic, and merely reuse the exterior texture again, perhaps with one or two minor changes. Looks interesting.
