OK, I have to ask when do get to lose the deadly red shirt rank of ensign? I think 400 posts would be more than enough, but NOOOOOOOOO!.
On a related subject, how the hell does Stephan have 5,000 posts? LOL

Yeah, you need to PM Crim about the post count thingie. He could Tell you a thing or two. as a matter of Fact, I think he should write a personal letter to every member of the board ;D ;D ;D

actually, on the old boards, Sethan and I had about 30k post's between us, and then due to a Glitch, I had to start over. When Frey took over, I restarted my count.
you know this is a Perfect opertunity to think Frey and Cue for all the work they do here. IMHO they deserve a little praise. They helped to keep us nutters together.

Hang in there Indy :) Just keep posting and in no time they add up.
I'm one of the lamest, lazyest typers out there and mine is not too bad. And some times i can go for a week or 2 with out posting at all.
The best thing to do is just ignore it,and they seem to add up faster. I guess its like watching water boil. ;)

Heh, back on the old Taldren boards I only had 1500 posts or so when they shut down, and I'd been a member since mid-2000. A thread has to be pretty important for me to defy my natural lurker tendencies. ;D

Very interesting. Indy needs 900 posts for a promotion from Ensign. I have less than 800 posts and have already had the promotion.

I think there is a random number generator..but it adds or subtracts points based on where you post, what thread, number of humiliating pictures of a moderator, and what musical instrument you play
My theory....could be more factors..any guesses?

See that is the type of quality that you need to get promoted. Do that every 12 hours and soon you will have earned your higher rank by the high quality of your postings.
Soon after that I will have more karma then Stephen. ;)
