How do you move and change hardpoints?

I'd like to move hard points around on a few models, and was wondering how you do it?

This hardpoint editor works only for SFC3? Or is it compatible with SFC2 or OP?

Just SFC3.

In SFC2 the harpoint UI (the schematics part) is fixed. (you cannot change the number and position of those)

Yeah, thought so...oh well, at least in SFC2 you can change the type of weapon the hardpoint uses...

not true.

SFC2 has "primary" (it's called phaser there) and "heavy" hardpoint distinctions as well.

I don't remember the scheme off hand, but you can find them clearly labeled in EagleEye's ShipEdit.

SFC does have an "omni" type of HP (that accepts both phaser OR heavy IIRC) that SFC3 doesn't.
