Problem With Single player Campign

I am having some trouble with a SP campign.  I have killed a Station in the same hex at least 4 times and the damn thing will not dissapear from the map. I don''t mind the PP I get from each base kill(Mucho) but its begining to feel like I am not accomplishing anything. How many times do I have to kill the damn thing before it goes away??? It makes it damn near impossable to flip the hex if the damn thing won't dissapear from the hex after I kill it!!!!  Any suggestions??????
