Star Wars V-Wing Fighter
« on: June 30, 2004, 05:36:13 pm »
I am almost finished with a Star Wars V-Wing fighter (as in Rogue Squadron).
Its about 75% complete & was just wondering, has anyone made this model for SFC yet?

Thanks for the Welcome Back fellas  :)

I guess I should have said the texturing was 75% complete.

It's been over a year since I've done anything with Max, I noticed I'm a bit rusty but here's a quick render to give you an idea, what a ya think?

With the orange details, she could be a Rom fighter.

PS - Welcome back!

 8) That's too cool, you textured a pilot in the window! Right down to the rebel uniform! Nice attention to detail, first time I've seen that done. Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys, Hey Bonk, if ya liked that, check out the USS Misouri on my site, It has a texture of a shuttle in an opened shuttle bay  :)

Yeah Bonk, Jokers one of the "old" guys from Taldren...made lots of "Oooohh it's so good!" stuff, lol. ;D

I recall, thats partly why I checked out this thread. (I liked the X-Wing series of games too).

I had a look at the USS Misouri shuttlebay at the rear, again excellent detail! (shuttle nacelle reflections off the floor!) It even looks roughly right at an angle. I'm a fan of TOS/SFB models mainly but those are some sweet models on your site J-O-K-E-R, nice overall site design too. (My webmap's are due for an image/look overhaul soon...)

OK, Here's a pic of the completely textured, SFC1 version. Yes, there will be one for ALL versions of SFC.

(To view from all angles, go to the "WIP" page at my site)
