I decided to make a new post on this so those poor sould like myself stuck with 56k won't be bogged down.

As I stated in the other thread, I'm taking my time on this, experimenting with things. Tried to do the spot on the registry, but as you cab see needs some work.

The nacelle textures are part of what Pata sent me, so I'm using them, since they are better than what I could do.

I'm really taking my time with this one...should have learned patience awhile ago, but, you know how it is.

I am learning more as I go, so that is a definite plus!

I don't know if you caught my comment on the other thread or not, but does the warp engine look a little small?

Other than that, it is fantastic.

I thought I had that re-scaled...must've forgot to save it. It is a little small, but can't really go to much bigger, it's a small design. Thanx for the comments.

Not a problem, I have always loved the FASA ships. Having another model for the series is inspiring.

Fasa rocked more than SFB in some ways, you could knock out a shield generator on their boardgame and guess what? no more shields until system repaired!

As far as the ships, Fasa was truly inspiring, they did the Reliant class oh so well, and anybody remember the Chandley class FF? Wasn't a FF at all, that thing had the firepower of a CA! Lets not forget the photon cruisers, where unlike SFB and SFC, they all fired FA like they should...

She's a sweet lookin' ship!

She jogged my memory of the FASA days. I first saw this ship in one of the guide books (don't remember which one though) but a fond memory nonetheless.

i went lookin last night for a better pix for u and didnt even come close. the only thing i really found that u might not have was an old pix of a sfb metal figure of one.. but i'd say it looks sweet as ur going. and like everyone else cant wait to get it

Here's something I've been thinking about.

The FASA stats indicate that this ship is 200 m long and carries 1 shuttle. (MK III) Why do they need a shuttle bay at all? Why not incorporate 2 shuttles into the hull at the bottom of each of the 'pods' ala Voyager's Aeroshuttle or the Galaxy Captains yacht? No reason to think this was a tech innovation from just TNG era, IMHO.

My thoughts are change the hangar bays to impulse engines, put one torpedo tube on either side of the 'new' impulse engine locations. On the front I'd add 4 torpedo launchers; two below the saucer and 1 on the forward part of the two 'pods'. I'd also add one phaser bank to the left and right of the warp engine. I have visions of the Remora being a TMP Defiant... LOL

Regarding the 100m variant; can you use a knotched saucer like on the FDX or FCX? I think that would be really cool!
