Topic: Is there anything that I can do to the patch so It can read my e drive?  (Read 1538 times)

say my d doesnt like disks anymore and I cant pull the wires out to move it plus I already installed stuff from the e....

What can I do?

The working drive for SFC3 is stored in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Activision/Star Trek Starfleet command III. If you don't know what I'm talking about forget it, you could do serious damage.

Uninstall, and reinstall from the CD drive you want to use.

cd and install drive are listed as 'E'

I have that same problem now...which I didn't have before...still haven't found a solution for it.

By the way,you should black out where it shows your cd key...just to be on the safe side.
