These truths I hold self evident:
This is the most fun I've had playing a computer game.
The friends I've met in person (S'Cip and J'inn) are truly my friends, whether they know it or not.
This is a computer game.
If the game stops being fun, I sure as hell wouldn't play it.
I respect everyone who plays.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I do not want this community to die.
Freedom of speech is not intended to defend speech you agree with, but speech you hate.
Everyone who plays is at different places in life, some good, some bad.
Not knowing all about the squabbles that go on within the admin teams, I cannot comment on them. I really wanted to see this community grow. Not placing blame or assigning guilt, I will be here for the community, as I know everyone will, until they turn the lights out at Taldren. I beg all the admins who have had differences with each other to reconsider. Name me an admin. Tell me what I need to do. It's just too much fun to play this game with my friends. I don't want it to end. I'm selfish that way. This isn't a dig on anyone. If the game, as I know it, is over, someone tell me know.
This isn't one of those 'I resign' posts. I'll ALWAYS be here. I'm the thorn in your side. But this constant bickering, and threats of termination, neither serve the community or the people I have come to know and like. Maybe we could go back to a time when this was just a game, and it was a pleasant diversion from RL?
