Hi, all:
My installer on SG3 will finally let people play with lot of different models. No longer must we fly with a BCH that looks exactly like our CL! Pleae forfive the blue background, but I took these shots in the modelviewer instead of in the game.
These are some models I've tweaked into existence for my own use. Mostly I used Fleetcock13 model files with War Refit textures. Then I used photoshop to add the GDA logo. I like the War Refit textures, but Fleetdock gave me more options on the number of plasma mounts. I wanted to get the number of plasma mounts correct on as many ships as I could. My objective was to get as close to SFB as possible. Now my ships in the game will look just like my miniature colleciton.
Here is the Gorn PFT. Not only does it strike fear into the hearts of our enemies with its massive cheese, but it also lets me fly with a lot of GDA logos!
SG3 will let us fly with tugs. They are ugly, but deadly.
Here is the big gun of the Gorn fleet, the DNH. I was quite happy that fleetdock 13 was able to get me a model with five plasma mounts. I applied the War Refit textures and added my own GDA logo.
Here is the ship I spend most of my time in during a campaign, the G-BCH. Again 5 torps, though this time three are supposed to be S-torps. I'm waiting for my registration code for Milkshape, and when it arrives I may stretch the rear bubble of this one. Then my ship will look just like Kroma's sig.
You know it, you love it, the Gorn Fast Battlecruiser. It only has two torps, but it is wicked fast. This was the best cruiser model I could find with only two torp mounts. When I get Milkshape, I may actuall *shorten* the front bubble on this one.
The Medium cruiser is another ship I spend a great deal of time in. Here is the model I'll be using, which is actually the Strike Cruiser. I may try to add a second ceter-torp.
The War cruiser is the true workhorse of every fleet. Our HDD may have a small name to get it past a budget-concious senate, but it is a full war cruser in every respect.
The Gorn BDP. I didn't find any thing with PF's on the hull for this one, but I did find a war destroyer scout which has the sensor mounts for a PF tender.
See you out there!
