ERNEST BORGNINE!!!!!

Ya, I stole that joke so don't bllame me.

In SFC3 is the cloak of any use?

Would someone explain to me how it can be used tactially in SFC3.

In SFC:OP - it was useless against human opponents.

Thanks,

Z

SFC3 has a true invisibility cloak.  When it is on, your opponent no longer has a target lock of any kind on your ship.  You could easily maneuver to face a downed shield or something, and then decloak to fire.

The opponent CAN break the cloak through probes or anti-cloak scans, but not every ship can do the latter and neither has much more than a 50% success rate.

As an avid user of Romulans in SFC3 online, I must agree.  The cloak is completely invisible to other players but tricky to use.  You can't go very fast with it on (1/3 impulse) and you must decloak and cloak with persision other wise you are very vulnerable (no sheilds).

I wish SFC2 ans SFC OP had invisible cloak, the old SFB rules allowed it and would make the Romulans much more lethal.
