Dizzy RM/ARMs for SG3

Dizzy,

Will you be using them?

If so KLAW (KOTH/KAT) would like to fill the Mirak positions.  Page Fluf or Chutt.

In what role do you plan to use the RMs and ARMs?

How many ARM's do you want for each race?

Do they get any perks, or should they serve for the reward of service?

Ya, RM's get a pp bonus to start as does an ARM (Max of 2) all of which are auto Field Marshals entitled to fly a DN. You may appoint one other player to be a Field Marshal or relinquish your Field Marshal title to another player.

There are no rules regarding who can fly a DN or when as long as you are a Field Marshal. DN's should be affordable very early in the game, and are VC's.

RM/ARM's deal with player issues and will setup the authority of their race/command structure if any...

Whatever else you want your races RM to be/do is up to you. If there is anything more I need to do/know about them, cept who they are , then tell me.

I told you 1st come 1st server lol!

Karnak, he beat you to it!

I'll let u guys hnadle the fallout.

And let me make it clear that the RM's once chosen are only RM's as long as they represent their race's players. I have no say in who the RM's are. This is just a flame thread So if the players dont want you or there is another RM they want more, you're out of a job :P

Durn, well since I will be a Server Admin. I guess it would not be prudent to be a RM, hehe.

But, thanks for making me ISC ARM Dizzy.

I was thinking of trying Lyrans and saving ISC slot for ISC Inv. bu t how can any self-respecting Frog say "No" to having the Gorns and Freds for neighbors to bash on, hehe.

Dizzy,

1.  Last heard, the races would be sharing shiplists.  If this is true, again last heard, the Hydrans and Mirak were sharing shiplists.  Are they considered ONE race (thus one RM etc) or TWO races?  Thus the Mirak need to get Hydran player input (hey Max!) on the RM and ARMs.

2.  How many ARMs per race?  The (semi-) standard 2?

Thanks.

yes, 1 RM and 2x BRM's (backup RM's) and one field marshal. Field marshal gets a bonus pp like the RM's and all you may fly a DN. However, should an RM wish to give up his right to fly a DN, then he/she may appoint another player as a field Marshal to fly it for him.

The Hydrans and Mirak share a shiplist, which means they may fly EITHER OR race but not both in one fleet and may NOT share fighters. No Hornet III's on a Mirak ship, hehe. They will however have seperate RM and ARM's, as they are 2x races. It would be unfair to limit them just because they share a shipyard (which is punishment enough, dont you think?).

Thanks Dizzy for the clarification.

The Mirak will have 1 RM, 2 BRMs, and a Marshall.  I'm chatting w/ Fluf and Mat now (hey Chutt, M'Ress ... get in here!).  KLAW hopes to get an answer to you soon.

Looking forward to the campaign.  Thanks.

The tholians are allied to the F/G/M/H. Some coalition players have been lured to the tholian holdfast... muhahahaMUHAHAHA MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Yeah, unless we can somehow get the SPQR's and SOS's to be there it looks like it'll be KBF vs. the rest.

Aside from the usual suspects who fly Klingon, we've not seen in quite some time an appreciable number of captains from the other traditionally Coalition races such as the Romulans (DoE notwithstanding), Lyrans and ISC.  It should be interesting to see what the turnout is for SG3.  I hope some folks come out of the woodwork for this one.

There will be about a 7 day test server period starting this weekend before the real shooting starts. So, there will be lotsa of time to talk about SG3.  Currently, we are waiting on the one and only supremo, stupendous-mento, no problemo for anyone-o, the cutting edge of SFC science, better than a PPD  , better than a magic inebriated photon (like that's hard to do ), better than a lap dancing  Orion Slave girl (k, must be pretty good then),  the great S'Cipio magic installer app.

Go, go gadget installer.

Scipio, Agave and Warlock all together and me playing ISC :-( Now I am depressed. I have a chance to enjoy old home time at the Confederation and I am playing the enemy. Now I have to go and kill my brothers of so many battles. :-( My wife is rolling over here. When she read the first to installments of the Return of S'faret she threatened divorce. She said she married a Gorn not some slimey limp frog :-)

Mommy can I PPPPLLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSEEEE play Gorn instead?

I am Tholian this server who happens to be ALLIED to the gorn, not that I'd really expect you'd understand that you thick headed scaly reptilian. Hasnt anyone told you that playing with fire can get you burned.. Well, things on this side of space where I am are mighty hot!

Hmmmmm, well we will need to see *all* the evidence of this disgusting crime.  So please, when you transfer the blue outfit, make sure you send along the young lady who is wearing it.

WOW, flash back to our old camp letters thread.

Well, I don't know about your mommy, but I would certainly welcome you back to the fleet of the confederation if you would like.   Your wife sounds like a great woman, who really knows what's what.

So, if you'd like, come fight by our side again and have a glorious, good time.   Now, if you cross the line in a stinky, slime-covered froggy ship, we shall hunt you down.

Anyway, good to hear your still hanging around the galaxy.   Pick your side well, for it would be a shame to hunt one of the great lounge lizards.
