Here is the map w/o any Race info, I.E. no Homeworld, Coreworlds, Bases shown... Ill post the border bases and the Planets later. The rest, you will have to find

And I thought you might want to ck this out. Here is a sample of the KCR, C7 and the 'borrowed' C7 for the Lyran models, among others that will be in the D/L pack. If you already have a custome model that you like better, simply replace these. Enjoy

I like the D10 model just fine...as a D10. Since that hasn't been added to the shiplist...

Atrahasis' C7 model.

I also use his C5 model for my K-DN. I use Gow's models for by K-CV and K-BB.

It's worth a try, though I think MSN has size limits, too.

What I may do is stick the models up on my personal website and then provide you the links to each file.

One thing I do like about about Dizzy's choice in adding the D10 model for the C7 is that this creates a seperate model pointer that will allow me to use Atra's C7 for the C7, and a K'Tinga model for the D6/D7 (KCA) hulls.

I hated that all KCAs displayed the C7 model...bust since I never flew any hull other than the C7 that pointed to the KCA directory, it was liveable.

It's a shame the D10 isn't added as a seperate, flyable ship...or the D8, for that matter.

I think the D8 is meant to be a middle era boat...seems like a pretty nice boat to me. What was it you found lacking?

Keep in mind, it's meant to be between the CA and the BCH...a CCH, if you will. I think it beats the hell out of any of our D7s.

Bear, I had thought about using the D10 model on that 1st D8 supercruiser you mentioned with the 1.25 move ratio. It was more in line with the Feds BCE, but outclassed her. So I dropped the idea, cuz we would be escalating the ship wars... I'd have to make that dreaded F-BCT to counter it. Then the Roms and Gorn get left behind.

now now dm... this is not a cheese server. We are shortly gonna go thru a test period. If, during that time, the RM's can come up with a design or 2 that we can all more or less agree on, I will consider adding it.

So you, then, are saying the klinks want a D8?

Nah...you do what you want. My preference would be to see the upgrades to the BCE, Miranda and the one CA you're "fixing" go away. That's all.

As I said when we discussed this before, there are plenty of ships in each fleet that suck and don't get flown. Why does one race get special treatment other than that's how you want it? If it's just a matter of "that's what you want," I can live with that. Lets just say so.

I added drone racks to all klink carriers. They really should have them, but even after I did so, I quickly realized they still sucked. Oh well. Same will prolly be the case for the BCE, NCM and CAI...

You made edits to ships of other races? I hadn't seen any news of that. I just saw your posts regarding the aforementioned Fed ships.

Klingon carriers suck? Still suck? Heh...you're preaching to the choir, Diz....

Still, the addition of drone racks does improve them a bit.

As for it being my choice to play on the server, yes....that part is true and I might not. Of course, I might just fly Tholian, too. Who knows?
