Ok.

I'm INSANELY bored, so I'm going to put up a fun server for enjoyment.

I have two missions that utilize SQL nearly completed.

Convoy Raid, and Convoy Escort. These will effect the [EV] depending on the Victory Level you achieve. They are fully playable and nearly complete, although they need some tweaking, (Currently, they do not take account for the maximum [EV] of a hex, but that will change. Right now you can boost a hex all the way to 250!)

I will include some other missions so everyone doesn't get bored playing only two missions over and over again. I'm also starting the server in Late Era, with 9k prestige, starting bpv 170 +/- 10.

It will be up in about 50 min from this post, and I will post a link to download the files right before launch. Anyone that wants a particular mission included, better Instant Message me, quickly.

Oh, BTW, read the README.TXT!!!!!!!

You need to place config.txt into C:\Program Files\Taldren\Starfleet Command II\ or you will CTD at the end of the SQL missions!

I ran three of the SQL convoy escort missions: two of them ran fine but on one of them (middle one) I crashed while on the briefing screen.

EDIT: They do seem to be raising the econ value of the hex ok - will try a few failures shortly and see if it drops them.

I seem to be getting SmartHEAP errors sometimes at the mission briefings. I will have to check on that.

You can click OK most of the time to confinue, without CTDing.

I'm running ok more often than not, but sometimes the error at the briefing screen comes up as an "application error", accompanied by a return to the desktop. The EV seems to be working fine in both directions.

The pause at the moment you achieve victory (or defeat) is a little disconcerting, but I'm getting used to it. I guess it just triggers the ghosts of far too many crashes past.

I've been running these two misions in test fine for the past 2-3 weeks. The SmartHeap errors probably mean I made a typo somewhere in the code, on my last compiling. They never appearred before, even in testing.

The pause you experience is when data is being transferred to and from the Mission Reporting Server. It should only last a few seconds, and it shouldn't be anything to worry about. This only occurs at the end of the mission. One transmissions are finished, everything returns to normal and the mission ends.
