here is a thought:

if we run the game in windows mode, and load the website in the background.

We will be duplicating SFC3's dyna abilities to see the players... (no more "guess work") Is that not a good thing?

(if it can be done even fancier, even a website login to separate the races...)

Thanks for the comments, I've created a thread here:

to preserve the continuity of this one...

(AI shows on the battles list as a player I guess,
I could add prestige and glicko info too but might add to
the roster... all of the info may be changed campaign by
campaign, see other thread...)

WRT: SQL mission testing...

Do we have any missions ready to test yet?
Are you still having connection touble TraceyG?
DarkElf, just how did you give Hondo that extra battleship that time?
Could a mission script post to a php script?

hmmm, time for a 2nd video card and extended desktop on a 2nd monitor. Time to start building a bridge too ..... and a captains chair with cup holder. Reminds me of the CnC simulators in Battle School, and then I'll need a 2IC to keep everything straight.
