Reclamation schedule ...
« on: May 01, 2003, 10:08:15 am »
Well I said (in another thread) that Reclamation would end May 1st (today) but left the option open to leave it up if SG3 was not ready to go.

Seeing as I'm unsure what the status of SG3 is, Reclamation will continue through the weekend and end on May5th. Unless, that is, SG3 is going to run (which seems unlikely) in which case I'll shut Reclamation down within 24 hours of SG3's start.

Because we will be working on a new, lite, server Reclamation WILL end at the end of the day on the 5th (around 12mid I'd expect).

I want to personally thank you all for playing on Reclamation. We reached a total pop of over 100 and though daily numbers were low (with a EaW server running co-currently, however, I was not suprised) those that were on had fun. Currently the Coalition is leading point wise but the end is still in doubt. Special thanks go to FireSoul for providing a great (and ballanced!) shiplist and to EvilDave for his missions and fixing some things mid run.

Hope you to see more of you on the next server (name pending) hosted by us at SFCx.

Later.

Goto May 5th.

There won't be any server clash.

I'd also like to thank everyone who not only have played on the server, but have offered feedback on settings, coop, missions, etc. I doubt we'll ever stop trying to improve the game as a community, but without such feedback, the work would go much more slowly.

Thanks again, and have fun these last few days.

I've pretty much sifted my gaming focus to this server in an attempt to help test some of these things anmd I've been having a pretty good time of it.

Part of what has kept me going, through the low server population has been the affont to my sensibilities that losing a 22K K-BTK to the explosion bug  caused.  I had worked so hard to get "C7 money" and to lose it on something I probably shouldn't have bought in the first place (return on trade-in meant I was going to take a 6K hit as it was) kind of sucked.  I was determined to rebuild my capital and get that C7.  I finally got one yesterday.

I've had a good time testing as well.

I can say that I really didn't run into any problems with DV's(or anything else for that matter) that isn't in EAW as well.  Everything seems to work well.

I give it a hearty thumbs up
