Do your computer level... I, II, III, IV or V have a direct effect in your chance of hitting a target or just increase your sensor range???

And what are the ranges for each computer type???

Yea, to use a numbered list to ease any response:

1. Does computer level affect to hit chance?
2. Does compter level affect damage?
3. What does the cloak detection percent mean.  ie. What does a detection of 70% mean?
4. Does turning on your active scanner increase your chance of finding a cloaked ship?
5. If a cloaked ship turns on its scanner, does it increase the chance it will be detected?

Come on David, or someone, throw us a bone or two? How about you testers? You should know since you would have to test these things.

1: No. There's no bonus to hit for higher level Computers.
2: No. Computers have no effect on damage or accuracy as a bonus/penalty.
3: 70% looks like a raw base chance. This is likely affected by officer skills, speed, range, and enemy anti-cloak measures.
4: I don't think so (if you mean the standard SFC2-like scan that all ships have). Active scan adds about 20 to the range at which you detect units, which is determined by ship size and Computer level.
5: I doubt it, though it probably should since a ship that is "pinging the waters" is more easy to find than one that is running silently.
