I was looking thru my collection of models and saw the Lexington Class, there are so many beautiful Enterprise-A classes, I mean Constitution Classes, P81 knoxes , khalibans or etc... can anyone kitbash a lexington class using the parts and textures of these F-CA and etc... we have please!!!!!

I'm going to build the Lexington from scratch. I've tossed together some parts of the model already. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Not much to see at the moment though.

Picture post.
As anyone can tell, the Lexington is a cross between the Ent-A and the Excelsior. I want the same level of detail for the Lexington as I have on the Enterprise, so I'm using little bits from the original two to flesh out some parts of the Lexington not originally included. Right now, all you can see of that is the second shuttle bay and the aft torpedo launchers. I'm also not happy with the main deflector. It's the one part of the ship that does not resemble anything from the other two. I'm open to suggestions on that one.

You could also open the jpgs in a paint program and re-save them as bmp.

I agree Khaliban, the deflector looks cool, question, is it true that the foward photon launchers are at the end of the deflector, like sticking outwards, lol i hope you understood that lol, anyway i agree about the deflector its noce

That's precisely what I meant about them, and it really ruins the model having the textures all screwed up like that. I tried 3Ddownloads again but it would open the pop-up window when I clicked on the stat downloading link, I checked the FAQ which said if that happens I either have a very old browser - no, or I have disabled pop-ups - no. So 3Ddownloads have screwed up really.

Oh and I think the deflector looks fine as is, it don't have to match up with the other 2.
