We feel it was time for an upgrade. The harddrive on the old forum server is almost full and there are many desirable features in this new version. We hope it will be more reliable, and now that I'm getting the hang of it, it's pretty easy to manage.

You have an *actual* profile on this version, and you can link to a small (80x80) piccy you want to represent you. It's pretty obvious (if you read the screen) how to do it.

No, I hate the new look as well.

The old ones weren't broken, and worked well. The uncluttered look is especially nice, and if I could *find* a way to toggle on a "classic view" so that it looked exactly the same as the old forums, I'd do it in a heartbeat. And why dump something proven just because the old HD was nearly full? Couldn't a larger HD simply go in in it's place?

The old Taldren model forum was a second home, can't say that I like the new one yet at all.

Can't even give a thumbs down because the emoticon for it is gone as well.

And having to pull down my firewall to post a message is just bad...(and that is what I'm having to do here).
