FYI--Internet attack
« on: January 25, 2003, 03:59:13 am »
There seems to be a serious attack on the internet occuring tonight. Speculation is that is the cause of the D3/D2/GSA outtages.

I know that one of my ISPs has completely crashed due to this attack.

Also, from the number of missing avatars and signature pics I would say it is a widespread and pertinacious attack.

Best,

Well this worm attacked SQL servers. If you have a SQL server and the virus didn't get you should go to www.microsoft.com/sql and patch your server, spent all day Friday and Saturday updating the our servers at work. The last hotfix you install require you to manually replace the files (thanks MS).
