Ahhh, I could just die.
My aunt calls me on the phone and asks me how I am.
She says she was thinking of me over the weekend because they went to see Patrick Stewart.
(She did what? Yes, I was thinking exactly the same thing).
In town for the BAFTAs (British Film and Television awards), Patrick Stewart made his way to his Home Town of Mirfield, West Yorkshire. There, he performed a low key fundraiser for the Gildersom Youth Club where he first got into acting.
My Uncle is the Mayor of Mirfield (which ain't as flash as it sounds), and got to present him with a Plaque.
To make matters worse, after the event, my aunt and uncle got to meet him.
Why didn't they invite me? They thought that to call me up on the night would have been too short notice!?!?!?!?!?!?
Sigh.
Oh well. So close.
If I can get some pictures scanned, and find a place that will "host" them, I'll post them in the Forum.
