'Tis for want of money Jim lad. <rubs first two fingers and thumb together>

Where's a millionare when you need one. You know, somebody who'll do the job without thinking about putting food on the table and keeping a roof in place. Of course what we really need is tobacco research money.

Perfectly hilarious, Cleaven...

Crumbs from the table of tobacco research would do...

It's an OK idea, the only problem is that most people who bought SFC2 didn't buy OP.  If you must package an expansion for the old games along with the new, SFC2 makes a lot more sense then a product few bothered with.

It would hurt sales, do doubt.  OP is still awaiting its patch (after all this time)...

Yes...the *not* addon expansion hurt OP sales......but that was interplay's call.....not Taldrens....so dont hold it against them....

I would point out that *most* currently active DV2 players have OP also.....

And for the low price of $10 dollars...there is simply no excuse for not getting it before is dissappears....

DV issues aside...OP IS the superior game as it has MORE content concerning ships and weapons, plus we finnaly got our Klink arcs

Add to that, the porting over of EAW missions and campaigns, the OP refit shiplist including a smoother transition to X-tech....

And I would like to confirm that the OP patch IS being actively worked on.....it is not vaporware....
