WIP: USS WASP NCC-233

Well, if you can't tell, my back is doing better...a little at least. Opened up my file of ships to do, picked at random and hit this one. I think it's coming along nicely...warning though, it's 5614 polys. Took me a little more than 2 hours to mesh it out. Now for the agony of texturing.

Nice job so far!   It's always nice to see people building models of Starfleet Museum ships.  Keep us posted.

Nice I like higher poly models.   Though I consider 5600 medium poly. You can really see the difference.  Keep it up.

Also glad your back is better. I imagine it will take a month for it to be fully up to speed. Its hard to rest a back. It gets used for just about everything we do.

WOW!!! No that is a smooth mesh. I didn't know there was a Pre-Tos ship that looked like that. Reminds me of the TNG Trident (Obviously because of the nacelle config.)

You're meshing skills are just rockin' along man. I'm getting left in the dust!

THANX GUYS!!

James, my back has been bad since I was in the Army...medical discharge. Told me I stood a good chance of being in a wheelchair by the time I'm 35...34 now. Figure every day I'm able to move around is a good day.

LS, Thanx for the encouragement...from a modeller of your caliber, it's high praise indeed.

Pata, my meshing skills are better, but my texturing skills are lagging. You do more work with textures than meshing; I do more meshing (should see some of the stuff on my hd that isn't textured). From the stuff I've seen, you're not that far behind me, yet I'm lightyears away from your texturing skills.

Yea verily. To me this is the quintisential PreTOS design. I like this better than the dedealous(sp.) design.

Now for those pesky textures

Oh yea glad to hear that your back is better sman, back pain sucks, its the worst! (almost as bad as dealing with the VA)

Anyway, started on them dam textures and got a little done...no pics as I'm on my wifes machine; I use hers to chk things in the morning while waiting to take kids to bus stop. Well, my back is [censored]. Doc took me off of work again...I'll have x-ray results friday. Anyway, after getting home from the doc I started working on the textures. This is 2 1/2 hours of work so far...have more to do.
