We have no less than 3 major SFC3 mods online now..
TNZ by Captain Korah (now updated)
Dominion Wars by Pelican (soon to be updated)
TNG Mega Mod by little ol' me (soon to be updated)
I myself have backed down a bit from ship conversions, feeling a little burnt out recently - and will be adding some of the models from the Pelican Mod to my own for the next update -- some of which I understand were converted by Captain Korah.
Some of the ships in the Pelican Mod I did some work on.
There are more mods brewing on

Future War - this one I look forward to.
Anime (I started a thread on my forum about that, which grew to 3 pages, and now several models are being made).
I think it is just awesome that we can all work together and co-exist to benefit the community.
