Problem Playing End-Of-Campaign Movies
« on: March 28, 2003, 04:22:15 pm »
Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone else has had the problem of end-of-campaign movies not playing.  I just beat the Klingon campaign and HEARD the movie in the background but didn't SEE it.

Has anyone else had this issue, or know how to fix it?

Thanks!

install the beta patch available at Activision for your game version.. this fixes in game movies..

as another alternate, you can explore your SFC3 CD and use the Bink Player and play the movies in your SFC3/assets/cinema folder or just look up bink player or rad tools online and install it and play the movies in the folder listed above....

I personally would patch the game.... fixes a lot of errors....

This is actually with a patched version of the game Oh well.  I'll try your advice about playing it from the CD directly. Thanks.

It always happens to me with the Klingon movie, the others seem to work fine. Supposedly, you can press ALT+TAB, which will minimize the game screen. Apparently, the movie is playing under the game window. Hope this works.

I tried the suggestion but couldn't get the bink player to work. Is there some trick?

I have the same problems with the movies and the player included in the CD doesn´´t work.
