Okay i'm asking this because i don't know if i can be sued by Taldren or Activision for doing it without permission, lol.

What i'd like to do after the Sci-fi Bashfest mod is comleted, is convert most of the SFC2/OP models over to SFC3. However the SFC2/OP models were made by the Taldren, so I assume I'd need permission for you guys before porting it over, even to SFC3, another game made by you.

May I? Please? I'm sure theres a lot of fans that would like Lyrans and Gorn and Mirak and ISC and Hydran etc etc in SFC3

As far as I know, using existing Taldren models on a Taldren game wouldn't be a problem, most people have already assumed that this is the case, as there are plenty of SFC2 models in use on various mods (including mine).

Basically, if you are not profiting at the expense of Paramount or the publishers you generally can do whatever you would like to do.

And in the worst case you would only get a please refrain letter if you were doing something that caused harm.
