Keep in mind that all servers, GFL included are fresh off the patch and all admins are tweaking settings.  While I am biased the GFL admin and CO's usually make an excellent game with excellent setups.  Check out their forum and you will note that the dialogue for tweeking the next one is already going about.  Top to bottom still the best players there imo.

The GFL leadership tries to make the game fun for as many people as possible. While I don't play SFC3, I do know that the SFC3 COs and the Council discusses most points of the game in detail. As for the massive disrepute thing, last thing I heard it was hardcoded into the server kit and so couldn't be changed.
