Herr Burt,

It appears that the gorn fighters with the exception of the G-10 are all missing their heavy weapons (i.e. Plas-Ds). Plus given the difference between SFB and SFC Plas-D offensive abilities maybe they should have some more fire power. As it stands the heaviest Gorn fighters available the G-18 and G-20 are little more than fast admin shuttles with 1 extra Ph3 and no heavy weapons.

What about the G-30?

After doing a little more research, maybe the G-18 should get it's 2xPlasDs and the G-20 could get 1xPlasF instead of the 2xPlasDs it should have. This would give the Gorns a fighter capable of attacking a mothership. Or just give the G-18s and G-20 their 2xPlasDs and add the G-30 with its 1xPlasD and 1xPlasF.

Mea Culpa.

Fighters can't use Plas-D (unfortunately) so I decided to replace it with a phas-II. This edit got done for the Roms, but seems it didn't get in for the Gorn. At least now I know why my fighters seemed so ineffective last night. I had to keep killing the enemy with my ship instead of my fighters. (Now what kind of carrier captain is that?)

Rest assured, this will be fixed when we restart after the Wargames phase. In the meantime, stick to G-10 fighters.

Sounds better but that still leaves the Gorn short on Plasma armed fighters. Yes the G-10 have them, but they are rather slow and thus have difficulty using the PlasF. Why not give the G-18 the Ph2s and the G-20 the PlasF or add the G-30 minus the PlasD?
