How does the OP Co-Op Ace do eras?  Will the computer AI always have access to X-Ships?  I saw reference to this a little in the post above as far as if 2/3rds of the people do not take X-Ships then there is a 2/3rds chance that the AI will have a mix of X and non X-Ships, etc.  What about if no-one takes X-Ships?  How much era control do you have in the OP version and how does it work?  Is it based on the era selection in the game startup?

This looks really great, BTW, and I am looking forward to trying it out.  Thanks!

Ken

In OP you can set the era in-game at the creation stage. EAW doesn't have such a function.
For advanced, the more X ships you take, the more likely the AI will have an X-only fleet as per rules of engagement.
If no one has an X ship in advanced, it'll be luck of the draw that determines if the AI has any X ships at all.

Think of it as rulesets:
If everybody picks an x-ship, then it uses this:
"All of my generated AI ships will be from the Advanced Era".

If noone picked an xship, then it uses:
"All of my generated AI ships will be ships that are in EXISTANCE during the chosen era.". The YearFirstAvailable and YearLastAvailable plays an important part.
This includes heavy battlecruisers, dreadnoughts, etc. ... all those ships continued to exist in advanced era, even with the appearance of x-ships.

If it's a mix of players (Say 4 out of 5) who picked x-ships, then:
There's a 4/5th chance that it will be 100% xships generated. There's a 1/5th chance that it will be a mixed fleet of ships that are in EXISTANCE during advanced era, including x-ships.

To Firesoul and Magnumman  Thankyou for your work on the co-op scripts.
I have had many enjoyable hours of playing from them.

Now here is a question that I am sure others may have asked.

Is there any chance for a Co-OP script for SFC3???

Wolf 359 can only be played so many times before it gets old.

Thank you for your time

And once again thankyou for the script thats so much fun.

well Ok -- but that is how much I would like to see a Co-op Ace for SFC3..

anyone who does that will be a hero of sorts, and I really would pay. I am not joking about that.
