SFC OP - Can Capture be Enabled in Multi-Player Skirmish?

To the Group:

After finally getting a nice wired network setup, we've been playing quite a bit of SFC OP Multi-player Free For All.  BUT...  players are unable to capture opposing ships.  Is there any way to enable capture in the SFC Multi-player Free For All Skirmishes?  If so, how?

Havn't heard of any so far, I think its somthing that may have to be requested to Taldren. In the unlikely chance that you can just change one variable to change it then someone will find it, otherwise an option to enable it will be needed. Dont know how likely that is!

I'm pretty sure that capturing has been specifically disabled for the non-D2 multiplayer missions. Maybe some new missions could be written, if somebody was so inclined.

There are ship-transfer problems with capture.
..

.. even in coopace, I make the captured ships just self-destruct to avoid problems.
BTW, try coopace for your LAN party.

MagnumMans sector assault multiplayer allows ship capture.  I played it with a couple of friends last weekend.  The player with the Starbase could not figure out why his ship was being ripped apart and mine was doing ok at range 0 from his starbase.  I had of course captured the base and transferred to controlling it.  So multiplayer captures can be programmed.
