I'm psyched that an upcoming episode of Enterprise is featuring J.G. Hertzler playing a Klingon once again! For those of you who don't know him by name, he played Martok on DS9, one of the most colorful Klingon characters on any Trek series. He won't be playing Martok on Enterprise though, but a Klingon lawyer! The episode is called 'Judgment' and airs on 4/9/2003.

Also, it's confirmed that another upcoming episode of Enterprise features the Borg. The episode synopsis can be found here:

What the heck are the Trek writers thinking? Borg in Enterprise? This show's getting crazy. I hope it doesn't go the way of Farscape, and flush itself down the toilet with bad (really really bad) writing.

Well, I will state the obvious. The Borg were on Earth at the time of First Contact with the Vulcans as shown in the movie of the same name. So the fact that a few drones popup in North Pole is not a great stretch as I think the sphere was indeed destroyed in that movie, although it has been so long since I have seen it, I can't quite remember if that is true.

Yeah and somehow during all the action the borg got onto the Enterprise. Now how did that happen with their shields up?

Just goes to show that you can do anything in the movies.

After they came through the time vortex their shields and sensors were offline.

As thin as it might sound with both shields and sensors down.. the Borg could have beamed both places....enterprise obviously wouldn't be aware... "I like to think there are always possibilities"

This is why I HATE ENTERPRISE. Don't get me wrong, I think its a cool idea, going back to the beginning of the Federation and what have you, but the writers are taking no respect AT ALL of the existing trek timeline.

1: In TNG episode "First Contact" the Enterprise performs first contact with a new race. In this episode Picard state and I quote "we perform First COntact this way, because 100 years ago a disatrous first contact with the Klingons led to almost a century of war". SO WHAT THE HELL ARE THE KLINGONS DOING ON ENTERPRISE NOT SHOOTING AT EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2: Also in TNG I can't remeber the episode but its when Q sends them to the delta quadrant to face the borg for the first time. Now Starfleet has NO record of the borg before this episode, so how can the borg appear on earth and then two hundred years later Starfleet has no idea of their existence.

I could go on, but really I can't be arsed. Enterprise is a HUGE dissappointment and should be axed and Mr Bremer so called "exective producer" sacked and someone who actully cares about Star Trek and its continuing sucess put in his place.

To play devils advocate, if Archers? Enterprise encounters the Borg they may simply not know who they are dealing with. That would explain why the Federation database didn?t have the word ?Borg? in it.

I was thinking maybe they are going to do the time thing again. Borg back in time or Enterprise in the future. But the Borg going back in time is not out of the question sence they did it at will in First Contact.

The Question is : How will they not know they are Borg so Picard will still be shocked when he meets them for the first time. Also I wonder how a ship that is far Below the Enterprise D is going to fair - When the Next Generation Flag Ship Gave such a good show of her backside against them.

I mean of the borg start saying, "we are the borg" then fair enough, its pants. If not then well, who would know what they are called? Maybe the information is classified after a time its all forgoten. Look the borg shouldnt be in there, but eh, its not a big deal. I think Enterprise isnt as good for other reasons.

Well, I just hope something really bad happens at the end of the series that nullifies the entire timeline that Enterprise is set in, thus invalidating all the erroneous script writing in the pursuit for bailing out their ailing ratings.
