churchil, lexington, connie, and Bloddwing WIP
« on: February 01, 2021, 08:36:46 pm »
Hello again Starfleet, Id been busy since the last time I posted here.

I have a few more samples of work that Ive been working on in my quest to become a professional 3d Modeler through experience.

Figured I should have given it a shot by now since Connies are a rite of passage supposedly from what Ive heard in various modeling communities.

Here are my WIPs that I stated in the title.

I would like to be pointed to a texture resource since I still havent figured out decals for the ship registry in blender yet but I have figured out material layers and using procedural nodes, can make any deflector or warp engine drive I want. AS you can see with the bloodwings engine block and my Connie, It looks like its right off the box of SFC 1. Which was my goal.

I have a Melak on the way as well since I figured out how to make the hangar indents while working on that warbird after observing the original melak floating around here in modviewer for a few minutes to see how they did it and put my own spin on it.

Id post more higher rez pics but the upload size is small here and I just want to show off my models.

Nice ships.

That "Blood Wing" is really a variant of the FASA D-16 Gull Wing.

Nicely done!
