Topic: Alternatives to MagicISO for Windows 10

I'm attempting to mount the ISO file for SFCCE; unfortunately, MagicISO - the go-to solution on this board for any problems with ISO files - does not want to install on my Windows 10 machine.  What alternatives to MagicISO are out there that work for you?

Clone Drive worked on Win7. Not sure if it will work on Win10.

I recommend the 2.564 version of SFCOP,    the only SFC game with any vitality and development today. SFCCE is historical software in my opinion.

I'll need to give that a try; the Orion Pirates ISO I obtained through the marketplace mounts without any issues.  Have the single player story campaigns been ported over?

I'm almost certain that any Empires At War mission that could be ported over to Orion Pirates has been available for more than ten years. (The SFCCE campaign missions are highly vulnerable to the AI's insatiable desire to capture in that game. EAW and OP handle capture more reliably.)

Just an FYI, you don't need to have anything like MagicISO or PowerISO on Windows 10

You can mount directly in windows explorer

Just go in windows explorer to the iso location, right click and change the file type to always open with Windows explorer, then right click again and you'll see at the top of the menu "Mount"

Then you'll notice that windows is treating it like a real CD
