Curious. I remember a lot of sex and such in that novel, so I wonder if this wouldn't be better suited to HBO or Showtime.

Still, a fantastic story, if they don't ruin it. And quite possibly the only Lawyer I remember loving in a book.

You missed the big time Televangelists and Mega Churches (in 1961)?  Lots of Philosophy?  The interesting concept of True Witnesses?  Sex is there but not graphic.

Just by about 9 years. I was born in 70 after all. But yeah, I do remember picking the book up when I was 6 or 7, and then reread it every 5 years or so.

I read it in my mid teens (the first time).  Didn't really get into SciFi books till then when I had some part time jobs and could buy (used) books instead of reading whatever was available to other family members or the school library.
