Ok found the launcher, used it same issues. Someone helped get rid of the entry point errors. So now regardless of how I launch the program (using the launcher or sfop.exe) the intro video with paramount, interplay , taldren, 14 degrees east plays. When it ends the screen blinks several times and I am back at the dektop with no game open (havent even put in my key yet). Thanks for all the help so far, im sure we will get it working base don the feedback I am getting. Ill keep checkign back in here and on email

The game will install on Win10 without the Launcher program.  The Launcher help makes multiplayer possible and makes the game easier to run.  The improvements that D4v1ks and Tar have made are amazing.

HI
I used to play SFC2:EAW a lot in past and have just found a CD of SFC:OP which have just installed onto a windows 10 machine.
I installed from the CD and then added the 2500 to 2552 patch from Dynervser, set compatibility to XPSP2, Changed Async to 0 and copied a d3d8.dll to the game folder.
The game starts fine and I can select SinglePlayer then a game starts shots down.
Looking for logs I found these errors
Unhandled Exception!
tScriptLoader::mBeginMission
tScripting::mBeginMission
tScripting::mHandleNetEvent
tSFCSim::mUpdateTheSimWithNetworkInfo
tSFCSim::mHeartbeat
tSfcApp3d::mHeartbeat
tMyApp::mHeartbeat

p.s. What is the answer to "Type the number of letters between 0-10"? is a question I have no idea what the answer is and neither does Google
