I would have put that information in the above, but that info is not stored in the same place for all the games and would have made the script above too complicated and inefficient.

Anyway, the server populations are low. Max around 60 character accounts on Strayy's (OP), but you'll only find a couple of players online at any one time. Vista killed us.

However, I have a fix and a new version of SFC2 that will work on vista. My code has been committed to our repository, but the app needs a little more cleanup before release. (Mostly NuclearWessel's contributions) So regardless of my own personal future, the Dynaverse can now live on. It looks like I will not be able to finish it, but Dave (NW) will know exactly what needs to be done.

no.  Only the Dynaverse is wonky under vista/win7.  And that is only going to be a problem for alittle longer.

I have always hated the word "soon" in relation to this board.  But yes it is coming.  the question is how much of a fix is good anough to be the release point to start.

I truthfully have no idea where to post this and I have a suspicion nobody here will give me a definite answer - is there a way to play online campaign anymore for SFC3? Several friends and I want to put one up. :\

Ridgehead reporting in! Haven't played in the better part of a decade, but I just got a wild hair today and decided to see if the game's been made playable for current computers. Lo and behold, SFC:CE! I'll be buying and installing as soon as I'm home from work.

Definitely will be looking for some online goodness (and probably need clues about getting connected etc.). How/where/when can I find you?

The CE project is to my knowledge not currently supported.  If you’re looking to get on a multiplayer server then grab your SFC OP disk and follow the instructions here:

Hope this helps.
