Been working on this for a few days its the stock model but I`m mesh smoothed the whole model making it a lot smoother around the edges was 462 polys now 2600 polys
remapped to use a single texture map ( not done a light map yet) and did abit of work on the textures trying to clean them up and match the colour better
will release a SFC version for anyone who wants it

plan on doing at least 2 more hydran ships and the starbase want them for my starpoint gemini mod

I really like the look.

Curious that you remapped it to use an single texture.
Have read that it improves the drawing speed in modern graphic cards.

I don't have experience with modelling.
But, is there an easy way to turn a model, that is split in various meshes and materials, into a single piece with just one texture?
When i open the stock models, and render them, the illumination seems so wierd at some points.
I ask myself, wouldn't it improve the model illumination and draw speed? Or it is just me not thinking right?

what you show here is a mesh smoothing problem and not a texture problem

Starbase Underway got abit of time to work on it today still needs abit more texturing done too it
and lighting up

Smoothed the model and done textures to a single map and fixed a few mesh errors

I must be missing the correct Dropbox... Under the Hydran folder I only see the SFB Style HMS Honor and HMS Magistrate.

Updated the Hcl model mesh smoothed the model and retextured the model to match the hca and starbase
