Topic: New Gorn Fleet idea...

Inspired by Thulls' Allosaurus Battlecruiser and the SFB style texture set used on it I decided I'd test those textures out on Atolm's Trykhiss.



Thanks again to Ervinc  for making the Allosaurus BC available again.

The Trykhiss will be my new GCX.

It is my hope that with the renewed interest in SFC: CE/2/OP we can get some better adversary fleets to polish the game even more.

I like the Allosaurus BC and hope that it can be kitbashed into a new fleet of Gorn ships.

EDIT: I retextured the Trykhiss in 2005 using STOCK Gorn textures but I lost it...

Brilliant.  IMHO a much better interpretation of post TOS Gorns.

I think we REALLY need to consider what will go into an upcoming OP patch, including MODEL updates.

I would really like the community to consider model updates, with TOS corresponding to EARLY, TMP corresponding to MIDDLE, and TNG corresponding to LATE eras (based on warp nacelle design).

Integration of any proposed dynaverse fixes would be great, too.  Make all other stopgap patches as integrated as possible.

I think thanks to d4v1ks, the sky's the limit and if a semiofficial patch is to be released, have it cover a LOT of ground.

Besides widescreen enabling and UI fixes, new model standards for all the variants and different eras, planets, backgrounds, would be exciting!
