Windows refuses to run it?
As it is a self-extracting exe don't forget to unblock after you download it!!

Finally, make sure you extract it to your game's folder!

Quote from: d4v1ks
    Tweaked shiplist.txt

This is the regular 2.670 shiplist. The tweak is to automatically give every ship its full supply of administration shuttles. Some ships had one or two shuttles fewer than a full load.

Scouts have been taken out of the shiplist. If you really want a scout, take another variant of that type (K-F5B in lieu of a K-F5S). Its weaponry can be considered an imperfect replacement for so-called Special Sensors. These sensors in SFC do absolutely nothing. Might as well have an AMD to effectively break missile lock-ons.

I've attached edit#1 of offsets.txt. The Light Disruptor's address was upstream by 2 bytes. I've also made minor edits to the comments. This file goes in the same folder that contains Starfleet2CE.exe.

Thanks

I'm working on 2.676 now.

The splash screen no longer shows the word "BETA".

The dead Gamespy arcade link has been replaced by an active EvolveHQ Community Edition group link for multiplayer.

The KFX arc graphic has been updated for Klingon, Romulan, and Hydran (for the H-D7H). All ships in the 2.676 shiplist that are eligible (D5, D6, D7, C7, KDR, KR, KCR) have had their FX arcs upgraded to KFX.

The Rear Plasma arcs (RRP, RLP) and the 60 degree SFBR/SFBL arcs have been fixed. (No ships in the default shiplist use these arcs.)

Thanks. I'll check out your version.

What I'd like to see is a patch that updates sprites. Why transmit an entire 60MB file to fix 1MB of bad data? Same with the Starfleet2CE.exe  -- only a few bytes will change in 2.676. I've never written a binary patcher. I've always distributed complete replacements (.exe, .q3, .txt).

I haven't made any changes to offsets.txt. I could add a tab for weapon arcs...but the associated bitmaps wouldn't match any player-defined arc. At this point, CE's offsets.txt won't change unless a player requests additional customization.

It has logic what you say.

But a binary update will only work if the original files match the ones we want to update.
For example, imagine a person that bought the vanilla version just now, and one that is using the lastest v2675. Now we would require 2 diferent patches!
Same with the sprites.q3 file. There is the vannila file and the one we zipped with 2675. We would need to create 2 patches.
Now imagine if someone has been using the SFC Editor to personalize something. Now we would have EXE's with diferent checksums... how would we know?
Same applies to someone that changes any sprite on the sprites.q3 file. It would have diferent sizes, offsets and checksums.

Nowdays, with the fast internet connections that there are, i dunno if it makes sense.
The 2675 patch is 23.4 MB only! And it has the EXE, one sprites.q3 file, and all the other things (+90MB).

Has the EXE editor been updated for both CE/OP. What's the current program?

Yes, it was updated. The last version is 1.4.0.0
I released it with the 2675 patch for CE.
I totally forgot to release it separately for use on OP.
I'm sorry.  :-\

I've lost track on the last updates that you 3 must have made on OP.
That's why i was asking about that, so i could make an updated package.

I don't find my OP offsets.
It was one TAnimal posted sometime ago.

Here it is the last SFC_Editor 1.4.0.0 version.
It has some little changes.
You can see them on the 2675 offsets file.

Edit: The version 2675 was replaced by the new 2677 patch.
