Wars 7/JJ Trek mashup
« on: November 04, 2015, 05:46:30 pm »
I was going to post this in the SW7 thread or the Into Drekness thread but both of those threads have become ancient.  I found this amusing...

This clip is "neutral"; I'm cautiously optimistic for SW 7  and loathe JJ Trek, but this mashup is almost seamless. To me it shows that JJ wanted to be making a Wars instead of a Trek all along

Vindication for the so-called "J.J. Abrams hating whiners" who said that from the minute ST09 was released.

You mean like JJ himself who pretty much said as much in the interviews?

I must've missed the JJ interviews where he admitted taking a mediocre Star Wars script and slapping Trek inspired characters and visuals on it.

He pretty much went into detail about how he was not a Star Trek fan and preferred Star Wars.
