Lost SFC2 Key :/

Hello and thanks for your time anyone who reads this. I have had a copy of SFC2 for around 10 years now, and I loved loved playing it as a kid. Unfortunately, moving houses has had me lose the case to the game, so I no longer have the License Key. I had seen a few threads down there was a person with the key generator who one could PM for the key, after verifying you have an offical copy. Its been quite some time since that post though, so, is that still a thing I can do? Thanks for any assistance, in advance.

Is the game already installed on your computer?  If it or was installed on to your system then there is still a chance the game key is in the registry.  Just make sure you back up the registry before you go poking around in there.  Hope this helps.

No, unfortunately, this is the first time I've tried to install the game on this system.
