Retro-computing fans got a treat on Tuesday when Microsoft donated the source code of MS DOS 1.1 and 2 to the Computer History Museum (CHM), along with the first version of Word for Windows.


Not open sourced but you can apparently get the code.  Wonder if anyone will compare the code to CP/M that some people have claimed was ripped off to make DOS 1.

I'm surprised it hasn't been reported that someone compared the two codes already...

Give them at least a day or two.  One to get out of shock and another to find the CP/M code.
