Depends on what you want mate, do you want an SFC model to play in game? A ref image for your site or just a nicely drawn 2d schematic?

If you want model, then we will need to consider the textures as the TOS ones don't match TMP so it will need to be considered.

Ok, would you want it stylized in a TMP or a TOS way for the textures?

Only when I feel inspired or have an idea for something.

Last project was to create some early Kzinti warships, freighters, etc. for some of the early Klingons I've downloaded to shoot at.

Generally my interest lies in filling in the omitted naval roles, which are all with the smaller vessel types, such as skiffs, corsairs, caravelles, corvettes, launches, gunwhales and clippers.

Also fleet service vessels such as tankers, tenders, battle tenders, etc.

For commercial vessels so far I've only created Fed and Klingon asteroid belt dust trawlers plus the facilities and service craft for such operations. Makes for an interesting strategic target for raiding games.

It's finding the time.

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!

I have a few things "in the dockyard" and a few "fill in" models that we used in LAN games a few years back that I want to do better, now that my skills have improved.

I tend to play a lot of Kerbal Space Program these days and there is a strong demand for innotavive component models and parts here.

They have component animation too.

Nobody has come up with a sewage disposal module for stations and larger vessel builds yet and I want to have a go but I'm still figuring out how the Kerbal modelling system works. Could make for a good last ditch desperation propulsion system via a dump valve.... ::)

I've had to relearn the component scripting system after the last couple of updates as they added tech tree and science gathering attributes. However my nuclear generator module and station fuel refinery from earlier versions still worked after modifications to the scripts and even come up in the tech tree unlocks....

Poly count is lower than SFC 1 in some cases with models in KSP.

Yes, folk have already made Star Trek TOS and Star Wars model parts in KSP and there is even an Aubucere Warp Drive patch that works according to current scientific knowledge of the subject. In the game it is creditted to being invented by Zefram Kerbal.... ::)

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!

speaking of your models Panzergranate, i did a rework of your Klingon Transport, here is a pic:

maybe you aprove this so i can release it for SFC and Armada2

Its a shame that we can't have animation like in Kerbal Space Program as openeing and closing cargo / hangar bay doors would be a nice thing to add.

Also they have engine glow / exhaust flame / gas trail linked to throttle as well.

Modelling has advanced quite a lot since SFC appeared.

Maybe in SFC CE 2 we might have these features, who knows. It would need a whole new game engine.

Go on, release it as it looks really good, perhaps a refitted and upgraded version.

I have a Caravelle version for Klingon mercenaries, hired by numerous mining concerns to escort valuable ore cargoes and protect facilities from Orion pirates, etc.

Naval Definition: Caravelle = a merchant vessel converted into an adhoc warship by the addition of (usually) excessive armament. (Most of the famous Spanish Armada consisted of Caravelles, which were not exactly seaworthy, maneuverable or stable).

True to this theme the Klingon Caravelle mounts an ex-old warship ventral Disrupter 3 cannon turret and torpedo launchers in the nose plus Drone racks under the lower wings.

I'm currently inspired, as I type this, for an even heavier version for the Internal Security Fleet....

There's a project for you, Terradyhne, come up with the following for the Klingon ISF for use against pirate bases operating inside Klingon space and crushing insurrections, etc. and all based on the transport, due to the financial constraints of the ISF:

Heavy Caravelle. (Able to at least stand a chance against an Orion CA).

Assault Shuttle Carrier. (Speaks for itself).

Gunboat Tender. (Allows for resupply of gunboats during extended anti-piracy campaigns and crushing inssurrections).

Constraints.... NO S-Graph engines.

Remember that there is no such thing as having too many weapons on a Klingon vessel.... (Unless the lights flicker and dim when arming weapons ::)).

The Klingons have many ways to fry a cat. I prefer to use an L7 Fast Battlecruiser!!
