Topic: Does anyone still have a copy of the old SFC 1 original crack? (Read 2319 times)

If I recall, the people who made SFC 1 finally released a no CD crack and on my old computer, it so runs.

But I would like to run the crack for SFC 1 on my new computer, too, and I can't find the old crack program. I hope it wasn't on some old floppy that got pitched.

As far as I know, what they did is put a line in sfc.ini - 'makeitso'; set it to 1 and it disables the built-in cd check.
You may need to update to the last version for it to work though.

Indeed? I'll give it a shot; I have updated it to the final (at least to my ancient knowledge) version of 1.03.

Where in the .ini file do I put the line?

You know, I wonder if this 'makeitso' line would work in SFC 1? I must have remembered reading about it for SFC II or something, but it's quite possible that it won't work for SFC 1.
If you did want to try it, maybe the bottom of the INI, or under the general game settings at the top.

I thought that command line was for SFC 3 ?? It's been so long the my memory of these games run together sometimes...
