1/350th scale USS Excelsior in paper

i thought you all would like to see my current project and see the reason i asked if anyone had hi-res textures for this beauty, (i still cant create textures and i am amazed what you all seem to do so easily). so far all i found was 2048x2048 textures would like to have them bigger. the parts in the saucer section are interlocking along with the formers. the engineering hull also has formers to increase the strength. so i think it is coming along nicely.

i forgot to mention that the total length on this model will be just shy of 5 feet (1440cm)

Quite a few modelers out there would drool over a 5 foot excelsior.  8)
