SFC2.Net's webhosting bills were not paid, so we decided to move it in house instead of hosting it with an external domain.

Your the first person to say anything about it since it expired about 3 months ago. We're working on getting the internal site re-mapped, mainly just waiting on SFHQ now that he has a job!

I noticed it, put this on the KBF website forums when I did, but didn't say anything here because I kinda saw it coming with as little use as it had seen for such a long time.
I wrote it off to sad, but expected.

Thanks. Good to know it will be back. It should be of use when CE goes final. 8)

Nothing was lost, you silly ridge head. Just the domain, and there's no need when we have the SFC Gaming Hub set up.

When the rest of the SFC2.NET team faded away, I was never told that I needed to pay any type of fee to keep it alive, plus I never received a bill anyway...lol.

Over the life of this game, I have given to CW/SFC2.net and D.NET over $1,000 in cash donations to keep this game going.  I believe I've paid my share  ;)  I'm sure others have paid or contributed a lot more.

Frey, the database has the usernames and their emails from a lot of the OLD SFC players.  When the right time comes to try to jump start SFC for the CE version, maybe a mass email from the user database would be a good way to try and grab up some of the old players?

Capt. Jeff -

With all due respect, each year it was the same thing - the domain fees I do not pay for out of my pocket and need to be paid by whomever was running SFC2.Net at that time.

If you'd like I can start throwing around  #'s about how much I donate monthly, too ;).. point is since it seemed to be an issue EACH YEAR to get the 39.99 YEARLY DOMAIN FEE paid, it seemed to us it wasn't that important to require a sep. domain.

We'll have the redirect up shortly.

Don't  insult me.

I've contributed enough cash.
I RM'd for a race longer then any other player other then Dogmatix did for the Klingons.
I was part the the best server team that ran Dynaverse campaigns.
I was admin of a very successful campaign
I helped admin the SFC2.NET forums, then  watched after them myself when everyone else left.

If I owed money for the domain name, then I wish someone would of tried to contact me.  I was never told.  How would I know?

All I knew is that SFC2.NET forums where being hosted by D.NET.

You act like I knew there was a fee, and I was avoiding it.  Sorry, I don't play that way.   If no one tells me, how would I know?
